Abstract:
This paper discusses the performance requirements of different sports characteristics on the soles, which takes "sole design" as the research point. Taking basketball as an example, the force condition and performance requirements of foot was analyzed and applied in the the design of basketball soles. The analysis shows that the forefoot is prone to side-slip when the movement is twisted, and the gripping ability can be enhanced by designing the sole pattern, sucker, and anti-slip block; the metatarsophalangeal joint is prone to open glue, and the outer wall "inner concave arc" can be used. The three design methods of "line", "split" and "reinforced" are alleviated. The abrasion resistance is required to be higher in the outer side of the heel than the inner side, which can be solved by using different materials of abrasion resistance on both sides of the heel in the sole.
