Abstract: The great progress of traditional culture and the development of social economy always goes hand in hand. Applying the core of traditional culture to modern design, in a sense, is the natural nutrient to promote the vigorous development of traditional culture. This paper briefly introduces the design and development of Qin embroidery, analyses its cultural connotation and artistic characteristics.And it also explores the application of Qin embroidery in modern luggage design from three aspects of pattern, color and shape, and produces new design schemes. This application of traditional culture to the design of luggage can enhance the story of the design.
