Abstract:
The effect of Fe and Zn chelated fertilizer of wet blue shaving hydrolysate on the growth of highland barley seedling was studied by hydroponic experiments. The growth states of highland barley seedlings were observed on the 7th day and 14th day, respectively. The results showed that the height, stem thickness, and leaf width in the experimental group were better than those in the control groups. The higher the concentration of hydroponic solution in the experimental concentration range is, the more significant the effect is. The measurement results of highland barley seedlings showed that the average height, stem diameter, leaf width, wet weight, dry weight, and the contents of vitamin C, K, Ca, and Fe in the experimental group were higher than those in the control groups; while the contents of chlorophyll, protein, Zn, and Mg were slightly lower. The results also indicated that the Cr, contained in this Fe-Zn chelate fertilizer of wet blue shaving hydrolysate, would not accumulate in the hydroponic barley seedling and cause the abnormal increase of chromium content. This chelate fertilizer can promote the growth of highland barley seedling by providing abundant of necessary nutrients, as well as some medium, large and trace elements for plant growth.
