绿色环保聚酯增塑剂聚己二酸-1, 2-丙二醇酯对聚氯乙烯性能的影响

Effects of Green Plasticizer Poly (1, 2-Propylene Glycol Adipate) on the Properties of Polyvinyl Chloride

  • 摘要: 采用绿色环保的聚己二酸-1,2-丙二醇酯(PPA)作为增塑剂,对聚氯乙烯(PVC)进行增塑改性,研究了PPA对PVC力学性能、硬度、加工流动性、耐热性和耐溶剂迁移性能的影响,并与邻苯二甲酸二辛酯(DOP)增塑剂增塑PVC的效果作了对比研究。结果表明,PPA和DOP对PVC均具有较好的增塑效果。随着增塑剂含量的增加(从40份增加至50份时),PPA/PVC/CaCO3和DOP/PVC/CaCO3复合材料的拉伸强度分别降低了3.25%和10.16%,质量损失50%时的温度分别为392.22 ℃和320.15 ℃,PPA/PVC/CaCO3复合材料具有更高的力学性能和耐热性。此外,DOP/PVC/CaCO3复合材料在乙醇、机油和正庚烷中的质量损失率分别为4.51%、0.52%和11.81%,而PPA/PVC/CaCO3复合材料在溶剂中无明显的质量损失,具有优异的耐溶剂迁移性。因此,绿色环保聚酯增塑剂PPA不仅可以替代DOP增塑PVC,还在耐高温、耐溶剂迁移领域,具有更广阔的应用前景。

     

    Abstract: The green and environmentally friendly poly(1, 2-propylene glycol adipate) (PPA) was used as plasticizer to plasticize polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Its effects on mechanical properties, hardness, processing fluidity, heat resistance and solvent resistance of PVC were studied and compared with PVC plasticized by dioctyl phthalate (DOP). Results showed that both PPA and DOP had good effects on plasticizing PVC. As the content of plasticizer increased from 40 parts to 50 parts, the tensile strength of the PPA/PVC/CaCO3 and DOP/PVC/CaCO3 composite materials reduced by 3.25% and 10.16%, respectively. The temperatures of 50% mass loss were 392.22 ℃ for PPA/PVC/CaCO3 and 320.16 ℃ for DOP/PVC/CaCO3. The PPA/PVC/CaCO3 composites exhibited higher mechanical properties and heat resistance. In addition, the mass loss rates of the DOP/PVC/CaCO3 in ethanol, engine oil, and n-octane were 4.51%, 0.52%, and 11.81%, respectively, while the PPA/PVC/CaCO3 with excellent resistance to solvent migration showed no significant mass loss in all solvents. Therefore, the green polyester plasticizer PPA not only can plasticize PVC by replacing DOP, but also has a broader application prospect in the environment of high temperature and solvent migration resistance.
