Study on the High-Density Weft Knitted Stretch Suede Fabric in Shoe Leather Process

  • The use of high-density weft knitting combined with elastane fibres produces a faux suede fabric with a finer texture and improved elastic properties. This paper analyzed the production process of suede fabric on shoe leather, and concluded that the development of high density weft knitting elastic suede fabric can enhance the texture authenticity, softness and elasticity of synthetic leather through the high density weft knitting process, special dyeing technology and synthetic leather manufacturing technology. The prepared fabric not only realized the cost advantage, but also enhanced the added value of the products by simulating the effect of real leather.
